Equestrian Access Groups

East Sussex and Kent Equestrian Access Group is a newly formed, friendly group in response to increasing restrictions and limited safe riding spaces. We aim to promote and protect good, safe off-road riding/driving routes around East Sussex and Kent. We have various levels of riders within our group, but one thing we all have in common is that we love to hack, and we aim to create a future where off-road riding is accessible, safe and protected for all for years to come.

Epping Forest Riders Association was founded in 1962 by riders associated with Epping Forest. We liaise with the City of London (the owners) regarding conditions, safety, and their plans. We organise events such as showing shows, fun rides, and horseman’s Sunday. Etc. 

Our purpose is to plan and preserve off road routes for horse riders. We actively maintain bridleways and work to open routes that should be classified as bridleways on the definitive map. We closely liaise with the local council, other bridleway groups and the British Horse Society.

 A registered charity set up in 1979 to preserve and develop the Bridleway network in Essex.  Run entirely by volunteers, we work tirelessly campaigning and working with the authorities to improve, restore and create a safe riding environment for riders in Essex.
