Equestrian Access Groups

The group’s members were volunteers with the National Heritage Lottery funded Heritage Highways Project.  Heritage Highways members are continuing the work of researching the old highways & packhorse routes in the north west of Sheffield.  We aim to extend and improve off-road access for riders, cyclists & walkers, by working to ensure that, wherever possible, routes are recorded on the DM at their correct historical status. 

Hodgemoor Riding Association raises funds via member subscriptions and events to create and maintain horse trails in and around Hodgemoor Woods in South Buckinghamshire, and improve access for horse riders.

Hoofbeats organise pleasure rides on private estate land and areas of Forestry land in Norfolk and Suffolk. Our intention is to provide rides for all abilities of rider in a safe and supportive environment.

Non-profit organisation working to maintain, improve and upgrade the bridleways network throughout Kirklees.
