North Lancashire Bridleways Society

This thriving society has been running for over 20 years and has over 250 members.

We organise very well-attended bi-montly meetings with guest speakers as well as a variety of fundraising events, such as annual rides and tack sales.

We have made improvements to many bridleways by paying for new hinges, gate catches and having vegetation cut back.

We want to improve access around the area and have negotiated access to the Lune Milennium Way and to the canal towpath from Bolton-le-Sands to Carnforth. We are currently paying for research into tracks that have lost rider access before the 2026 deadline.
