Equestrian Access Groups

Equestrian Access Groups work across the UK to defend, extend and promote safe, easily accessible off-road riding for everyone.

The BHS has around 110 affiliated equestrian access groups across the UK working on behalf of all riders and carriage drivers to campaign for improved off-road riding. These BHS affiliates help to uphold our values and promote equestrian access at a grass-roots level, monitoring local equestrian rights of way and working alongside local authorities and other groups. They are also a fun, sociable way of getting groups of equestrians together.

In return we actively support our BHS affiliates in helping them achieve their aims through training, free advice, fundraising support, representation and promotion, as well as gathering everyone together to celebrate our annual UK wide Ride Out UK campaign which often brings giveaways to those who take part.

If you share our passion for horses, why not join us and help us campaign to improve off-road riding or carriage driving? With your help, we could do so much more.
