Leicestershire and Rutland Bridleways Association

The Leicestershire & Rutland Bridleways Association celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2016.

It is a credit to Vicky Allen, the founder chair, that it has thrived and initiated many bridleway improvements during this time, including extensive new routes over restored mineral workings and through new road schemes in West Leicestershire and the bypassing of Sounding Bridge on the A6003 in Rutland.

The nearly 400 members enjoy a varied programme of 10-15 rides each summer and can attend one of seven biannual area meetings to monitor the state of, and possibilities for extending, the local bridleway network.
