Who may make a nomination?
Anyone may make a nomination by completing a nomination form and forwarding it to The British Horse Society.
Completing the nomination form
Please fill in the nomination form completely and accurately, following the instructions in each section closely. It is important that you provide as much information as possible about your nominee, and try to explain what their actual contribution in an area has been.
The completed form should be sent to the Chief Executive's Department, The British Horse Society, Abbey Park, Kenilworth, CV8 2XZ or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Type of awards
Awards are given to people and organisations that have made a significant contribution to the work of The British Horse Society.
The number of awards is strictly limited and therefore, however valuable their service, not everyone can receive recognition. It is important to realise that an award will not automatically follow a submission, although we do aim to recognise all contributions in some way.
The nominee should not be informed that they have been nominated, as it is not fair to raise expectations in case these are not met.
Nominations close August 14 2020. The Awards ceremony will take place in November.
Please note that serving Trustees and members of staff are not eligible for awards while in post.
