The BHS 24/7 Legal Helpline is available to all BHS Gold members. Operated by Epoq Legal*, the helpline is made up of experienced legal professionals with a wide experience in dealing with equestrian issues, providing expert advice in a sympathetic, jargon-free way.

Advice and support
The Legal Helpline is available 24 hours a day to help with a wide variety of both equestrian and personal issues that members might commonly face, helping you to understand your legal rights and the steps that can be taken to resolve problems. These include, but are not limited to:
- Buying or selling your horse, either from a dealer or private seller
- Loaning your horse
- Contractual/property disputes relating to stabling/livery
- Advice on wills and powers of attorney
- Inheritance tax and trusts
