About Me

I have 35 years industry experience in the equine industry. I compete myself in showing, showjumping and dressage. I enjoy coaching all age ranges from Pony Club upwards, I particularly enjoy helping/guiding combinations that need confidence and support to reach their goals. I have previously taught in an equine college both in arena and classroom delivering lectures on all aspects of stable management and equitation. I have a foundation degree in Equitation, Training and Behaviour and a Bachelors degree in Equine Science as well as a level 3 qualification in Education and Training.
I very much enjoy coaching and ensure my clients enjoy themselves too! Training sessions are geared to build the bond between horse and rider with emphasis on the consideration of the horses mental and physical welfare as well as fulfilling the needs of the rider. To help the rider to welcome and enjoy learning new theories and learn new techniques to enhance their own 'tool kit' to become a more established, competent and confident rider. Learning in a relaxed and good humoured environment to understand better how our horses work and what we as riders can do to get the very best from our equine partners.
