The training will cover the practical teaching elements of both assessments, including:
- Group and private dressage lessons at Novice and Elementary level
- Group jumping lessons
- Lunge lessons
- Simulated cross-country coaching
- Lesson planning, delivery and communication skills
- Assessment expectations and common pitfalls
Whether you're actively preparing for an upcoming assessment, supporting candidates through the process, looking to refresh your coaching skills, or simply interested in learning more about BHS coaching qualifications, this day offers valuable insight and practical experience.
Participants will have the opportunity to coach sessions during the day and, where appropriate, may be signed off for relevant sections. Those who prefer to observe are equally welcome and will gain a clear understanding of the requirements and expectations at each level.
