By kind permission of the Chatsworth House Trust charity, British Horse Society invites you to experience something truly special this summer.
Saddle up for an unforgettable day and make memories that will last a lifetime. This exclusive BHS Ride Out UK pleasure ride offers a rare opportunity to explore the breath-taking beauty of the Chatsworth Estate along a never-before-ridden 8-mile route, taking in sweeping parkland, peaceful tracks and stunning countryside scenery in one of the UK’s most iconic settings.
Whether you’re riding with friends or soaking in the moment on your own, this is your chance to slow down, connect with your horse and enjoy the simple joy of being outdoors together. This is a gentle, sociable pleasure ride, perfect for soaking up the scenery and enjoying quality time in the saddle. It is mainly on surfaced tracks, with some stony sections. If your horse is barefoot, hoof boots are recommended.

⏰ Ride Times
Ride slots run from 9:30am to 2:00pm, with flexible departure within your chosen 30-minute window.
✨ Tip: Book the same slot as your friends to enjoy the experience together.
Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before your ride time.

Spaces are limited and released in stages:
- 1–10 June: Golden Tickets - Priority access for riders who missed out last year due to weather related event cancellation
- 11–18 June: Early Bird booking for BHS Members
- From 19 June: General release
Bookings are online only - no entries on the day.

🚛 Horsebox and trailer parking is in a field—please ensure you are comfortable parking on grass in varying conditions.
⚠️ Important: If travelling via Baslow (A619), please use the roundabout to turn safely into the entrance.
