Event Details

Join us for an engaging, hands-on workshop exploring how better land management can create healthier environments for horses while improving soil health, drainage and biodiversity.

We'll discuss common challenges faced by horse owners and land managers, including mud, overgrazing, soil compaction, poor drainage and laminitis risk. Through practical activities, discussions and real-world examples, you'll learn simple, achievable ways to improve both horse welfare and land resilience.

Together, we'll explore:

  • Managing grazing to support horse health
  • Reducing mud and improving drainage
  • Encouraging horse movement through land design
  • Balancing grazing needs with laminitis risk
  • Practical solutions for healthier soils and landscapes

Suitable for horse owners, yard managers and landowners of all experience levels.
