Our Mental Health First Actions course is an insightful understanding of mental health and the potential problems surrounding poor mental health. During the course you will spend lots of time working on resilience, self-care, and learn the techniques to empower people and have the confidence to step in and offer support to others when needed.
Fundamental Wellbeing Foundations - 4 hour course
This awareness course covers the foundations of Fundamental Wellbeing First Aid. Teaching individuals how to spot the early signs of a mental health issue along with how to offer and provide initial help. We encourage open and honest conversations around stigma, stress, and pressure and we use our practical action plan A.C.T.© to appropriately help someone both in an emergency and as a longer-term solution.
Delegates will receive a handy resource pack including a combined workbook & manual, A.C.T.© card, and e-certificate.

How is the course delivered?
This is 1 Day Course.. Delivered online ‘live’ by an expert trainer. It is a fun and interactive workshop, with lots of time for practice and questions.

This course is suitable for all adults within the equestrian industry and beyond, including:

- Freelance coaches and grooms
- Employees within riding schools
- Trainee coaches
- Volunteers in equine
You do not need any previous knowledge of mental health however, if you have completed other courses such as Mental Health First Aid, this course will complement and build on your existing knowledge.
