Isle of Man Welfare Week: Chip and Go Day

22 Apr 2022

Friday 22 April | 12 pm - 4 pm

We asked local equestrian's earlier this year if they were interested in having their horses microchipped and/or passported and the response was overwhelmingly yes! So here is your opportunity to bring along your horse or pony along to our chip and go day... We're offering a passport drawing service, a microchipping service or both!

Many thanks to Ray Cox MRCVS for donating his time to support and deliver this microchipping service.

Doors open: 12 noon

The costs (plus booking fees) are:

£5 for a microchip
£25 for a passport
£30 for both a passport and a microchip.

Equine chipping and passporting can usually cost an average of around £50, before adding vet visit fees so don't miss this opportunity to access this service at a reduced rate.

Please note:

If you are taking up the microchip-only service, you must bring a valid passport with you for your horse/pony before a microchip can be administered and the passport updated.

All horses must have current, valid vaccinations against equine flu at the time of attending this event; spot checks may be made on the day.
