BRC host 7 national championships per year ranging from intro dressage all the way up to advanced medium and 70cm show jumping up to 110cm. Qualifiers are held in each area and require pre-entries to be made to HQ as well as an area entry. Hats & Body Protectors
For all BRC competitions, a hat meeting the current standards must be worn when mounted and it is advised to wear one when leading. Body protectors are mandatory for any cross-country competition and must be up to standard. Current standards can be found on the BRC Downloads page.
Flu Vaccinations & Microchips
All horses competing at area qualifiers and championships must meet the BRC flu vaccination guidelines. These can be found in the BRC Handbook (G7, page 19). An excel flu vaccination checker can be found on the BRC Downloads page. As of 1 October 2020, all horses attending BRC area qualifiers and championships must be microchipped.
