BRC NAF Five Star National Championships

Entry is by invitation only and can be made through https://britishridingclubs.sport80.com/ 

Entries close on THURSDAY 13 AUGUST 2026. If late entries can be accommodated a late fee will apply.

All competitors must have a valid club membership and competition pass.

BRC are delighted to have NAF as title sponsor again this year for the National Championships.

Riders are able to compete in dressage & show jumping both individually and as part of a team. There are also direct entry dressage classes which do not require any qualification.

Horse and Country will once again be filming the action in Ring 1 on Saturday and Sunday.

Dressage

The championship include a wide range of dressage classes ranging from Introductory right the way up to Advanced Medium. 

Show Jumping

The 70cm, 80cm are all split into juniors and senior classes with the 60cm,  90cm, 100cm & 105cm being mixed classes. 

Direct Entry

 These classes are ones which do not require any qualification. Class listed below, please see provisional schedule for further information. 

- Open warm-up classes: see schedule for tests.
- Coloured Horse: Open to any coloured horse or pony, they do not need to be registered with CHAPS. Horse and rider eligibility is open.
Thoroughbred Type: Open to any thoroughbred/ thoroughbred cross horse/ pony. Does not need to have raced or been registered with Weatherbys. Horse and rider eligibility is open.
Young Horse: Open to horses aged 7 and under.
Native Type: Horses must be of native type to compete in this class. Horse/ rider eligibility is open.
Under 13’s: For competitors under 13 years old on date of competition.
