About us

Set in the stunning scenery of the South Pennines, Peers Clough Packhorses is a family run business, extending a warm welcome and a high level of personal service and attention. We use locally bred Fell ponies from the Wellbrow Stud who are placid, sure-footed, full of character and fun to ride. We offer riding holidays on the Mary Towneley Loop of the Pennine bridleway, pub and picnic rides, hacks from one to three hours, outdoor riding skills, therapeutic horsemanship, farm B&B and a holiday cottage, Pony Pals group, pony parties and activity days.
