Would you like to know more about volunteering with the BHS? Would you like to put something back into the BHS?
With more than 1000 volunteers involved in the work of the BHS across all areas, it really is your Society, so if you want to help make a difference in your local area – become a British Horse Society volunteer.
Within the BHS we have a wide network of volunteers that cover a whole breadth of roles – there really is something for everyone. There are so many ways in which you can become involved that you will be spoilt for choice. Whatever your interests, experience or location we have an opportunity for you. Please get in touch with your BHS Regional Manager to discuss your opportunities at Julie.Hanna@bhs.org.uk
Thanks to our volunteers we are able to respond to welfare cases and continue to raise awareness of welfare education, continue campaigning for rider’s rights, provide support and advice for horse owners, promote the BHS Dead Slow campaign and educational opportunities - our committee volunteers use their skills and experience to benefit horses and people in their local areas and also help run local events. It is a great way to meet like minded people in your local area and to gain knowledge and experience along the way.
