About Us

Inspire Me Equestrian is a welcoming equestrian centre in Ightham, near Sevenoaks, Kent, offering a wide range of riding opportunities for all ages and abilities. We provide group, semi-private, and private lessons, alongside structured programmes such as BHS Pony Stars, BHS Junior Challenge Awards, and BHS Ride Safe, ensuring a strong foundation in riding skills, horse care, and safety.
We also host a variety of holiday activities, from “Own a Pony” days to themed Games days, giving riders memorable, hands-on experiences. Our Young Riders Programme allows enthusiastic riders to take our ponies to local shows, with many proudly representing us at Hickstead. A highlight of our calendar is Udifest, our annual summer event with show jumping, handy pony, camping, barbecues, and food vendors – a fun-filled celebration for riders and families alike.
The centre was founded in 2017 by Elaine, whose passion for horses began as a child riding with her sister Lorna at Easterton Stables in Scotland. After years of sharing their first horse, Emma, Elaine continued her equestrian journey with Spring, competing in show jumping and cross country. Alongside riding, she pursued her studies, completing a degree in Chemistry, an MSc in Equine Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and qualifying as a BHS Senior Coach (Level 4).
Elaine’s vision for Inspire Me Equestrian is to inspire the next generation of riders by offering fun, educational opportunities with a carefully chosen selection of quality ponies to suit every level.
