About me

My equestrian journey began many moons ago when I qualified as a Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship. That qualification opened the door to an incredible international career, taking me across India, Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Germany, where I taught and worked with horses in a wide range of settings. Along the way, I gained hands-on experience in eventing, dressage, polo, Bollywood movie horses, pony clubs, and riding clubs, giving me a rich and varied understanding of different disciplines and training approaches.

After returning to the UK, I trained as a Primary School Teacher. Today, I’m proud to balance both of my passions — working part-time in primary education while also teaching as a freelance accredited equestrian coach. This blend of classroom teaching and coaching experience has shaped me into an instructor who truly understands how people learn and how to build confidence in both children and adults.

As a coach, I’m known for being friendly, approachable, fun, and supportive. I work with riders of all ages and abilities, offering a calm, confidence-giving approach that focuses on building an empathetic, balanced partnership between horse and rider — both physically and mentally. I teach groundwork, horsemanship, and ridden sessions, always adapting to suit individual needs and goals. I’m also delighted to offer BHS Challenge Awards and Pony Stars, helping riders develop their skills, confidence, and love of horsemanship in a structured and enjoyable way.

Whether you’re taking your first steps around horses or looking to progress your riding, I’m here to support you with patience, positivity, and years of wide-ranging experience.
