Suzanne Owen

I have forty years experience as a qualified BHS coach. I specialise in teaching both adults and children the correct foundations of equitation, enabling riders to progress through the levels in any discipline or leisure riding. Lunge lessons often benefit any level of rider to improve posture, balance and rhythm, resulting in a better partnership. I have an ethos of ‘riding in harmony with your horse’.

I help people feel connected to their horse both with ridden and ground work. When I work with a client I ensure they have a personalised progress plan which may include competing in their chosen discipline.

I have a degree in Equine science and business management and a science PGCE. I enjoy teaching students for BHS and other nationally recognised qualifications.
