About me

I am a freelance BHS Accredited Professional Coach based on the Gloucestershire–Herefordshire border, working predominantly with adults of all levels while also enjoying coaching junior riders. Alongside my BHS accreditation, I am a Centre10 Advanced Coach (Applied Psychology for Equestrian Coaches), a Franklin Method Equestrian Instructor with a focus on rider biomechanics, and a qualified Working Equitation Instructor.

I coach across a wide range of disciplines, whether on the flat, over poles and fences, or through off‑horse sessions. I also deliver Working Equitation clinics and mindset and goal‑setting workshops. My coaching philosophy centres on supporting the horse‑and‑rider partnership by drawing on my varied skill set to ensure each session leaves riders feeling confident, clear on their progress, and motivated for the next steps.

In my own competitive career, I have evented up to BE Intermediate, ridden at Badminton Grassroots on four occasions, competed at HOYS, and produced my grassroots eventer to compete at PSG level in dressage. I also have experience retraining racehorses and particularly enjoy supporting riders who work with or compete ex‑racehorses.
