About Me

Calm, confidence-building training for horses and owners of all levels.

With over 30 years of experience across many disciplines, specialising in The Art of Equitation, combining classical Dressage, Groundwork, Enlightened Equitation and the Academic Art Of Riding.

I have competed up to British Dressage Advanced Medium and continue to train in the Academic Art of Riding, developing softness, precision and mutual understanding between horse and rider. My approach combines empathy and technical skill, helping each partnership progress at its own pace while staying true to classical principles.

A qualified Equine Behaviour Consultant, former Saddle Fitter and Horse Bit Advice Consultant, I takes a holistic view of every horse I works with. I have trained in biomechanics, rehabilitation, balance and rider awareness, and currently completing the Rider Biomechanics Trainer Diploma, applying Train Your Seat principles using balls, bands and mind-body exercises to improve alignment and feel.

I have attended the Centre10 APEC Foundation in Applied Psychology for Equestrian Coaches, enhancing her understanding of confidence and performance mindset. My career spans work with stallions, mares and foals at stud, event and dressage yards, riding schools and a mounted security yard. This experience has shaped h my understanding of equine individuality, from sensitive Iberians and warmbloods to steady cobs and even Muffin the mule, adapting each session to equine and human alike.

My coaching includes Dressage, Jumping, Working Equitation, Groundwork, Classical In Hand work, Polework, Obstacle and Clicker Training. Each session blends feel, focus, and fun, helping horses build trust and riders discover the quiet power of true communication. I also offers riding simulator lessons to refine posture and balance in a safe, supportive environment. H

My teaching is rooted in progress through understanding, helping riders rediscover confidence, connection and joy in partnership.
