About me

I am an experienced equine professional with a strong academic and practical background. My industry experience includes working as a groom, riding coach and Equine Lecturer at University Centre Sparsholt as well as, delivering applied equine behaviour training, including support for difficult loaders, hoof handling, clipping and desensitisation.

I have produced and competed my own horse British Dressage and MCI Dressage to Medium level. I coach riders of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to grassroots competitors.

My specialist areas include groundwork, developing young horses, in‑hand work, schooling and dressage. I focus strongly on rider biomechanics, alignment and positioning, ridden behaviour and improving horse and rider symmetry to achieve straightness and balance. My strengths as a coach are clear communication, a supportive approach and the ability to adapt calmly to on‑the‑spot situations.

My coaching philosophy is based on correct rider position and biomechanics, horse positioning and classical dressage principles, informed by training in Portugal. I work with a horse‑ and rider‑centred, whole‑horse approach, using structured, incremental training to support confident, sustainable progress.

I enjoy supporting horse and rider development through realistic goal‑setting and value helping riders feel a positive difference in their horses through correct training.

I provide ongoing support between sessions, alongside clear development plans and achievable goals.

Coaching rates: 30 mins £25 | 45 mins £35 | 1 hr £40 I am happy to travel up to 25 miles for coaching and riding.
