About me

I am a BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach specialising in simulator training, rider biomechanics and transferring improvements into ridden work. With more than 40 years of experience, I am also a Racewood Accredited Coach, Franklin Method Equestrian Ball Certified Coach and qualified Gym Instructor.

Through Nicky Caden Equestrian, I deliver simulator sessions, run clinics and teach riders on their own horses. I also deliver training courses for coaches, helping them understand how to use simulator technology effectively within their own coaching. My approach helps riders recognise what they feel and change on the simulator, then transfer those improvements into their riding to develop better balance, coordination, confidence and communication with the horse.
