About me

The best part about my job as an Equestrian Coach - I love a eureka moment when a client nails something they've been working on! That feeling when the penny drops is priceless. Plus, I love sharing my passion for horses with others. I'm obsessed with horses!

I love teaching kids - the shy ones who need their confidence boosting to the bubbly ones who just don't stop talking because they are so excited to be there. I love teaching adults, too - beginners, novices, and the more established. Finding the right challenge for them so that they think, "Oh, I've not thought of it that way before, that makes more sense now".

I teach children and adults from the complete beginner through to the amateur competitor. I provide an enthusiastic, fun and knowledgeable approach, whilst developing confidence and self-belief. I bring oodles of patience and a big, friendly smile and I am more than happy to work with the less confident or nervous riders.

I've ridden and competed all my life, from BS to polocrosse, dressage and hunter trials, to becoming a groom. I trained as a primary school teacher initially, but then joined the Army(!) before doing what I should have always done, and qualified as a riding coach - and this is truly what I love doing! 

I've been coaching for several years now and love sharing my passion of horses with my clients.
