About Me

BHS Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship (BHSAI) and Stage 4 Riding.

Coaching adults, children, Riding Club & Pony Club Rallies in all disciplines. Sympathetic and informative coaching style which has developed from 20 years of experience in the industry. Helping clients reach their goals at National & Trailblazer Championship level in all disciplines is as rewarding as enjoying success with clients overcoming fears and obstacles at home; from hacking out alone to entering an on-line dressage competition.

I possess a real understanding of what motivates and what can "hold" back progression within a horse and rider partnership, not just when riding but also in non-ridden work. By identifying your goals and helping to implement strategies and techniques to achieve those goals, I can provide not only the necessary practical skills but also the mental toolkit to help you have a rewarding and long lasting relationship with your horse.

As a qualified integrative counsellor with BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) I have a wealth of knowledge and practical applications that enable me to gain perception and insight into our thought process, on top of providing practical coaching guidance. As well as Coaching, I also work as a Counsellor in a busy GP surgery and have a private practice. My overall strengths are being empathic, non judgmental and facilitating confidence and fun levels to really increase for both horse and rider.

Previously hunted and competed in Dressage BD and Eventing BE , though retired from competing now as I have a collection of "retirees". Available for an informal chat if required.
