About me

Fun, friendly and enthusiastic freelance coach and rider. Specialising in grassroots rider development, I am passionate about helping people development their partnership with horses using correct training methods.

I have competition experience in dressage, showjumping, and eventing. I enjoy training and competing my own horses in my spare time. I regularly coach and ride horses around the North West, particularly in Bury and Bolton. I coach a variety of riders from leisure to competitive riders, from those who do it for the love of horses to others with competitive goals in mind. I ride many different horses for riders with differing goals - from exercising horses for riders lacking time, to schooling young horses and building experience.

I am a Lecturer in Equine at Myerscough College and University Centre, and I also coach at Ryders Farm Equestrian Centre in Kearsley, and Margaret Haes Riding Centre in Bury. Co-owner of training group Making Strides Equestrian Events holding regular camps and clinics.
