About me

I use a comprehensive approach that combines technical expertise, biomechanical analysis, and personalised training plans to help riders to excel in their chosen discipline, whether it's dressage, show jumping, eventing, or recreational riding.

My coaching philosophy emphasises building a strong foundation of fundamentals while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment to build a perfect partnership. I work closely with riders to identify strengths, address weaknesses, and develop strategies to overcome challenges both physically and mentally. I have been coaching and specialising in rider fitness, biomechanics and rider mindset for over 15 years. I also have over 30 years of riding experience, competing up to national level.

I hold many qualifications, including an Honours Degree in Human & Equine Sports Performance. Alongside many other Equestrian qualifications including being an Accredited Professional BHS Coach, Accredited Pony Club Coach and an Accredited Racewood Coach.

I am also a qualified Fitness Coach (Level 2) and Personal Trainer (Level 3), specialising my expertise in rider fitness and function. And a qualified Pilates teacher (Level 3), having completed specialist training with Alan Herdman. These qualifications allows me to integrate performance and Pilates techniques into my coaching, helping riders improve their core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness. My aim as a coach is to help riders be the best version of themselves so they can be the best for thier horses performance too.
