About Me

I have 38 years coaching experience, complemented by equine industry experience in Dressage, Eventing, Working Equitation, Le Trec and Side-saddle.

I coach a wide range of riders from beginner to competition level and specialise in working with riders and horses who lack confidence, have physical limitations and partnerships that need strengthening.

I have a kind and patient approach which builds harmony and trust, and I particularly enjoy seeing horses and riders improve and achieve their goals. My clients know I am always available to offer help and advice including setting training goals and finding exercises that they can work on between lessons.

My coaching philosophy is centred on positivity, lightness of aids, improving rider balance, effectiveness, building feel, understanding and creating harmony. My approach to horse training is based on a thorough focus on strong foundations by working through the scales of training and enabling the horse to gain the physical and mental strength to do what is asked of them.

I charge from £20/hour per session and will travel up to Isle of Wight.
