About me

I have 40 years of experience and coach all ages from children up to adults within a variety of levels from nervous novices to competition riders. I am a Pony Club instructor and examiner. I regularly coach pole work for flatwork and teach in Riding Club clinics. I am very patient and kind, my strength would be developing confidence with young and nervous clients. I also have a lot of experience with young horses. 

My equestrian industry experience includes freelance coaching and running a small livery yard. My competition background is in dressage, and I have competed to Inter 2. My strengths are with nervous clients, I particularly love seeing people progress, especially grass roots clients. I support clients through structured lessons and by giving my clients pointers (homework) to do, I am also always at the end of the phone. My coaching philosophy is centred on building confidence, setting achievable rider goals and SMART targets but overall ensuring enjoyment. My coaching approach is logical and always rider and horse focussed .

Lessons are available from £45 per hour, and I travel within a 25-mile radius of Offham Kent  from my location. I run pole work clinics and flatwork clinics and have a beautiful 60x20 school with mirrors so people are able to come to me too.
