About Me

I am an enthusiastic and passionate coach with a wide range of experience both coaching and competing. I have a deep understanding of horses and equitation, I am committed to excellence and ride and coach with a sympathetic and thorough approach.

I am a Ride Safe Advisor and Trainer and promote safe riding in all environments. My previous work in a Secondary School allows me to understand and recognise different learning styles and adapt my coaching accordingly. This ensures better communication and transferable skills and empowers the rider to help build confidence. I work with children and adults on a freelance basis. Also pony clubs and riding clubs/riding centres and livery yards, offering individual lessons, group lessons, pole clinics.

I love the variety that my days can bring from beginners to grassroot competitors. We always discuss development, progression and looking at achievable goals and how we as riders/owners can enable our horses to excel to the best of their ability, whilst enjoying the journey.

I tend to coach within a 10 mile radius of home and my current charges as of January 2025 are:- 30 min private - £30 45 min private - £40 45 min semi-private - £25 per rider 60 min semi-private - £30 per rider 60 min group 3/4 riders - £20 per rider. I also require 24 hours cancellation notice or 100% fee will be required. I would be happy to travel further but would need to include travel expenses as necessary.
