Emma Morris

I have been coaching for over 15 years. I have competed BD up to Medium and BE105 on horses I’ve produced myself. I particularly enjoy working with green or inexperienced horses and helping them develop their way of going, and I coach a wide range of riders—from complete beginners on their own horses to established competition riders.

About Me

I have been coaching for over 15 years and have worked on a variety of yards, including both racing and eventing yards, before becoming self-employed. I have competed BD up to Medium and BE105 on horses I’ve produced myself. I particularly enjoy working with green or inexperienced horses and helping them develop their way of going, and I coach a wide range of riders—from complete beginners on their own horses to established competition riders.

As a coach, I am understanding and sympathetic to both horse and rider. I don’t believe in quick fixes; coaching appeals to me because I genuinely enjoy watching partnerships progress and achieve their goals. My approach focuses on building confidence and enjoyment for both horse and rider. I follow a logical, training-scale-based process to develop the horse’s way of going and to support riders in their education. I’m always happy to support clients and tailor each session to their individual needs and ambitions.

Prices start at £30–£40 for a 45–60 minute session, and I am happy to travel up to 30 minutes from Swadlincote.
