About me
I have been coaching for over 20 years, with a broad range of competition and industry experience. This includes working for two five-star riders, a professional showjumper, as well as time spent in hunt and stud yards. I have also managed a riding school and successfully coached a team to national level.
I have competed up to Medium level in BD and am also a BD judge, giving me a well-rounded perspective both in and out of the arena.
I specialise in working with ex-racehorses, RDA clients, and particularly neurodivergent riders, as well as those returning from injury or rebuilding confidence. I coach a wide range of clients, from complete beginners through to more advanced and professional riders.
As a coach, my strengths lie in empathising with each rider and helping them develop confidence. I focus on understanding both the horse’s mindset and the rider’s perspective, creating a partnership built on trust and communication. I am passionate about seeing horses working happily and relaxed, and nothing is more rewarding than seeing a rider smile when everything comes together.
My coaching approach centres on helping riders connect with and truly tune into their horses, building confidence as their partnership grows. Clear, effective communication between horse and rider is always at the heart of my coaching.
I pride myself on going the extra mile for my clients. I am always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and provide ongoing support. I am approachable, supportive, and a trusted confidante.
Prices start from £25 per 30 minutes, and I am happy to travel up to 40 miles.
