About me

I have over 15 years of coaching experience within the equine industry, working across a wide range of disciplines including eventing, dressage, showjumping, showing and western riding. My background spans both competition and riding school environments, giving me a well-rounded and practical approach to coaching riders at all levels, from complete beginners through to grassroots competitors.

I have extensive experience in groundwork and the development of young horses, and I place a strong emphasis on building correct foundations for both horse and rider. My coaching focuses on improving rider biomechanics, creating clear and achievable goals, and ensuring consistent progression in a structured yet supportive way.

As a coach, I am known for being kind, compassionate and approachable. I believe that a positive and encouraging environment allows riders to develop confidence and reach their full potential. I take great satisfaction in helping clients achieve their goals, whether that be small personal milestones or competitive ambitions.

My overall philosophy centres around the wellbeing and happiness of the horse, ensuring they enjoy their work just as much as the rider. By combining a horse-centred approach with clear communication and goal-focused training, I aim to create partnerships that are both successful and sustainable.
