Take on the challenge!

Botswana – The Okavango Delta Ride 5 -16  July 2019

Raise funds for the vital work of the BHS by taking on the ultimate challenge ride through the Okavango Delta, Botswana. Experience the utterly unique environment and Big Game whilst guided by a top Okavango Delta ranger.

The money you raise prevents horses becoming serious welfare cases. Could you donate to this amazing cause?

Since the launch in 2000, hundreds of horse riders have saddled-up and embarked on fantastic overseas adventures with The British Horse Society. From Namibia to Mongolia and from India to Iceland – we have put together equestrian adventures of a lifetime that will suit both your riding ambitions and your riding ability.

Experience vibrant cultures, make long-lasting friendships and enjoy the ride of your life all while raising vital donations to support our charitable work. Riders are expected to independently fund their place on their chosen trip(s), and are challenged with raising a ‘minimum fundraising donation’ through sponsorship and fundraising efforts.

This was an amazing experience. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done but also one of the most rewarding - I am so proud of myself for completing this ride which took us through varying landscapes, all of which could have been plucked from a film set.
