Becoming a skilled farrier requires a deep understanding of horse anatomy, hoof care, shoeing techniques and the ability to handle horses safely. Proper farrier training is critical not only for the well being of horses but also to ensure that they remain healthy, sound and capable of performing their ridden or driven work whether that's in sport or leisure.

This visit will give us a rare insight of all the work that goes into training the farriers of tomorrow, and the opportunity to talk to the students about why they chose farriery as a career. An invaluable experience for anyone thinking of pursuing farriery and those who want to find out more about their training.

£10 per person (All payment transactions will be subject to a small booking fee to cover the booking and payment processing charges.)
