Transform Your Flatwork with Tim Downes FBHS – One-Day Clinic for Riders at All Levels

Tim Downes FBHS, British Eventing Master Coach, BHS Chief Examiner, International 5 Event Judge, and FEI Olympic Solidarity Trainer, has decades of experience coaching riders from grassroots to elite level. He is also a British Dressage Master Judge, trainer, and assessor, bringing unparalleled insight into rider development.

Tim’s coaching is clear, practical, and thoughtful, focusing on developing riders to improve their horse’s training and performance. His approach suits those building strong foundations as well as riders refining higher-level work.

This clinic is ideal for:

SESSION OPTIONS & PRICES

Private Lesson – 40 minutes – £95
One-to-one lesson with Tim. Ideal for riders wanting focused individual input.

Semi-Private Lesson (2 riders) – 40 minutes – £50 per rider
Lesson shared with one other rider of a similar level. Pairings will be made for compatible abilities.

Shared Lesson (3 riders) – 45 minutes – £45 per rider
Lesson shared between three riders of a similar level, focusing on core flatwork and rider development.

Group Lesson (4 riders minimum 6 riders maximum) – 1 hour – £37 per rider
Suitable for confident riders happy working in a group environment.

All prices include coach fees, arena hire, and clinic costs.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION

Lesson times and pairings will be scheduled and communicated after bookings close on 19/02/26, to ensure compatible combinations and the smooth running of the day.

Shared and group lessons will be organised to ensure riders are of compatible ability. Where a suitable grouping cannot be achieved, we will contact the rider to discuss an alternative option (such as a private lesson) or offer a full refund.

Lesson time preferences can be entered at the time of booking. While we will do our best to accommodate these, they cannot be guaranteed.

Minimum requirement: This clinic requires a minimum of 10 booked lessons to go ahead. If this minimum is not met, all bookings will be fully refunded.

All payment transactions will be subject to a small booking fee to cover the booking and payment processing charges from the provider.

All riders must have public liability insurance to attend this event.

All horses/ponies must be at least 4 years old, fit for the activity, and have up-to-date equine influenza vaccinations. Horses must have their passports available at the event.
