Event Details

Join us for an engaging and supportive coach training day designed to help you feel confident and prepared for your BHS Stage 2 or 3 Coach assessment.

 

Who is this day for?

  • Candidates looking to take this assessment in the future.
  • Existing coaches who train students to the level who want to standard set their own training.

Throughout the day we will cover the practical training for BHS Stage 2 group lessons and BHS Stage 3 individual dressage and semi-private simulated XC lessons.

 

Heather McLain BHSI

With expert guidance from your presenter, Heather McLain BHSI, who is also an assessor for these qualifications, you will be receiving insight and feedback from someone who knows first-hand what is expected to be successful in passing these assessments.

It’s also an ideal opportunity to gain real teaching experience and receive constructive, personalised feedback as well as learning by watching others.

 

Other Details

There will be the possibility of gaining some sign off for the Stage 2/3 Assessment. This will need to be requested at booking.

Lunch is provided and included in the cost. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.

Instructions

If you want to coach please bring hat, gloves and suitable footwear.
If required, please bring your skills record book.
Please bring a travel mug for tea/coffee.
