The facilities

The cross country course is set within the picturesque park grounds at Kings Meadow and boasts a wonderful selection of over 100 well maintained fences ranging in height from approx 20cm going up to 1.10m and includes popular XC elements such as banks, ditches and steps as well as a wonderful water complex, so no matter what your aspirations there are plenty of options to choose.

Flat work groups will be in a (roped off) grassed dressage arena.

Show jumping sessions will be held in a dedicated grass jumping arena.

Groups

Open to all ages (groups may be mixed ages)

There will be two groups of offer for the day, those jumping anything under 60cm (including those that just want to do ground poles). Fences for this group start teeny tiny and go up to 60cm you can choose what you wish to (and not) to jump and the second group will be for those wanting to jump anything above 65cm and beyond. These groups may change according to the combinations that book on, so please use the information box provided to give a detailed, honest description of riding capabilities and jumping experience so I can sort the groups appropriately.

Due to the wonderfully diverse nature of the fences at Ickworth we are able to easily accommodate mixed jumping height groups as you can pick and choose which fences you fancy and those you don't! (those jumping under 60cm will stay in the first XC field) so even if you don't fancy jumping anything at all, you can still participate and have a go at the water, steps. bank etc.

(please select proffered group height at time of booking)
