About us

Mill Farm is a friendly, welcoming DIY livery yard that is kept to a very high standard. Each horse has their own individual paddock, and we try to support all year turn out. The Livery Yard is on a working farm with excellent facilities and an ongoing programme of improvements. We are based on the outskirts of Wedmore.

Some of the facilities include:-

• A Superb Cross Country Course, with jumps built by Olly Goody. The course provides a good range of fences that you will face competing in either a hunter trial or BE, with ditches, trakehners, banks, skinnies and more. All fences are anchored and flagged for safety purposes.

• With Show jumps on grass - We now also have a set of wooden show jumps in the field with fantastic spooky poles - swirls, stripes, pencils and spots - you name it - we’ve got it! Great for practicing on grass ahead of all those County Shows!

• Or just use it as a canter Field!

• CCTV in each of the stables

• A floodlit 60 x 21 arena with mirrors

• A round pen for lunging (or a roll!)

• Winter turnout pens

• A hot wash with hosepipe boom

• Solarium

• For the owner/rider there is a heated tea room (perfect for warming up in the winter after a cold or wet ride).

• There is also WiFi on site allowing flexi-workers to be able to log in to work whilst at the yard!

It is very important to Mill Farm that all the customers – human and equine – feel welcomed and safe at Mill Farm. We very much want this to be your ‘happy place’ where you come to enjoy your time with your four legged equine friends!

Mill Farm is a Diversity Champion and has a dedicated person to speak to should the need arise. We also welcome all age groups, from children with their first ponies, to the more mature rider.
