Grants have previously been used in a wide variety of ways including training clinics in all disciplines.

Here are some other ideas to get your creative juices flowing:

  • Trailer towing tests
  • Confidence building clinic/NLP – sports psychology for the rider
  • Riding Test and Style Jumping Demo evening
  • Team building day for members or volunteers
  • ‘Have a Go’ day
  • Equine behaviour/psychology talk or demo
  • Yoga on horseback – improving rider fitness and balance bitting clinic

Grassroots Training Grant 2022

We are pleased to let you know that we have again been awarded a grant from The Worshipful Company of Saddlers. The grant will be used to provide BHS Accredited Professional Coaches at the NAF Five Star Horse Trials Qualifiers.

These APC’s will be at your event to offer support. Not only will they be there to lead guided course walks, but also to provide assistance in the warm-up arenas as well as answer any riding-related queries you may have. Please do make the most of the knowledgeable coaches being there and get in contact with your area organiser to find out timings on the day.”
