We are delighted to announce that SEIB Insurance Brokers will be sponsoring the BRC Novice Winter Championships and we look forward to welcoming them once again. SEIB specialises in an array of distinct fields, with 60 years of of experience in horse insurance.

About the Championships

The dressage and show jumping competitions are open to both teams and individuals, with separate classes across the two disciplines for both our junior and senior members.

In the dressage, two members of your team must ride a prelim test and two members must ride a novice test, with individuals competing in separate arenas.

In the show jumping, both the seniors and juniors compete (on their relevant days) in two rounds – for which the second course may be higher.

Stabling

Stabling will be available to book via https://brc.bhs.org.uk/select once championship invites start being sent out.

Please note booking closes 21 days before the start of the competition.

Hat Tagging

All members are required to have their hats tagged before competing in any BRC qualifier or championship. You can review our up to date guidelines here.

The Arena Eventing Championships will consist of a course of showjumps immediately followed by a course of cross-country fences.

BRC NAF Five Star Combined Championships

The Combined challenge is an excellent test of the ability and timing of a horse and rider to negotiate a show jumping course followed by a cross-county course on grass, in an arena.
