D&H – Delivering Excellence in Nutrition for Happy Healthy Horses

Horses are at the heart of everything D&H, a brand which has been synonymous with premium quality horse feed for over 80 years. The products have an impressive reputation and D&H is focused on delivering excellence in nutrition for happy healthy horses.

Horses of all activities and disciplines enjoy D&H feeds daily and some of those happy and healthy horses that are fed D&H are equine royalty such as Big Star, D&H Q Paravatti N, Django, JL Dublin, Kitty’s Light, London 52, Ronaldo & Wimbledon Hawkeye. Alongside these horses and their riders, D&H is also the Nutritional Partner to the British Equestrian Teams, British Riding Clubs, Stallion AI Services and The Thoroughbred Aftercare Programme.

D&H feeds offer excellence in nutrition for every horse, whether that be for leisure horses that are either in or out of work, competition horses in action at every level, show horses, racehorses or those at stud. Horses that require additional support are also catered for, including those with specialist requirements and veterans. The experienced and knowledgeable people that make up Team D&H include Registered Nutritionists and a Qualified Vet who are all passionate about happy healthy horses and are on hand to help with all nutritional enquiries.

D&H is committed to manufacturing consistently high-quality feeds and the dedicated horse feed mill and independent testing laboratory helps to ensure that all the products are manufactured in the UK to the highest standards, under the Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS) and BETA NOPS schemes.

Founded nearly six years ago, Perth Equine Vets is an independent, dedicated team of equine professionals. Led by equine vets and directors Camilla Church and Anna Hammond, our experienced team also includes vets Gayle Wotherspoon and Katie Offer, supported by a knowledgeable office team of five—all with hands-on equine experience, either professionally or as horse owners.

We’re proud to offer a compassionate, personalised service—whether you’re caring for a top-level eventer or a beloved Shetland pony, we believe every horse matters equally.

As a first-opinion ambulatory practice, our vets are on the road five days a week, providing a wide range of services from vaccinations and dentals to lameness work-ups and gastroscopy. Our fully portable equipment—including X-ray, scanners, electrical dental tools, and endoscopy—allows us to deliver high-quality care at your horse’s home. Our vets are very well qualified, with two internal medicine specialists and a certificate holder amongst the team.

We also provide our own out-of-hours emergency cover, ensuring you’re always seen by one of our own trusted vets. For routine care, our monthly health plan helps make budgeting for annual expenses easier.

At Perth Equine Vets, we understand that every horse and owner is unique. We take the time to explain treatment options clearly, helping you make the best decisions for your horse’s individual needs.

A family owned and run BHS Approved Centre and livery yard, they offer first-class facilities alongside a welcoming atmosphere for riders of all levels. With a busy calendar of competitions and clinics, there’s something for everyone.  Their spacious indoor arena is available for private hire.
