A bit about me...

"1) I have been riding for nearly 39 years and own 2 horses that I train in dressage to advanced level. I have competed in many affiliated disciplines over the years, BD, BS, County level showing and even endurance. I am also a trustee for the Cavalier Centre (RDA) in Much Wenlock, Shropshire.

2) I enjoy hacking and exploring the countryside hiking, I therefore understand the importance of keeping our safe spaces to ride accessible. Moving into an access volunteer role seemed liked a great way to make an impact and keep fellow horse riders safe.

3) I became a volunteer after working alongside my local access contact at the BHS about a dangerous gate that had been erected on a bridleway. We worked together to have the gate removed and Wendy suggested I became a volunteer to work on similar projects.

4) The smell, believe it or not?! a family friend took me to meet her horse when I was around 3 years old, I loved the smell and the rest is history. I became horse obsessed!

5) Magical, graceful, intelligent.
