A bit about me...

"I love being able to support equestrians in accessing safe, off-road routes. I began volunteering back in around 2010. I had produced a nice young cob, Cowboy, and sold him to another access volunteer who filled me with enthusiasm to take on a similar volunteering role. I Iike to help by sharing information and contacts that equestrians can use to help with access issues. I also love engaging with other stakeholders at the Swansea Local Access Forum and in the local Active Travel Stakeholder Group where I can share our needs as horse riders and carriage drivers, as well as learn about how we can work with others.

I first got involved with horses as a pony mad kid, I spent a long time pestering my parents for riding lessons! Now I am a grown up I have a couple of horses of my own. Dave, a very fine Spanish gentleman who I ride around my local bridleways and on the beach. And Norf, who is the up and coming youngster who I hope will enjoy doing the same. To sum horses up in three words is hard! Feeling, intelligent, beautiful!"
