A bit about me...

"I’ve volunteered with BHS for many years and always enjoyed the work and the people I’ve met. I’ve taken occasion to involve other riders when I can, I carry hi viz in my car and give it away to a rider I see on a road without any, inviting them to promise me they’ll wear it.

Until this summer I had a horse I could park under a tree and stand while I chopped off twigs and stems that might take an eye out. I didn’t take up horse riding until my mid 50s so I’m always playing catch up! Got involved through my local riding school where I learned to look after myself and became completely hooked on horses and riding."
