A bit about me...
"My parents were jockeys and I was given my first pony when I was aged 5. I the late 1980s, I wrote to the council after a notice appeared on a bridleway I used to ride after school. The BHS bridleways officer (as it was then known) liked my letter when she read it in the council report and called round to invite me to join up as an access volunteer. I've been doing it since!
Along the way I spent 14 years as RABO East of England, 2 years as BHS Chairman, and I'm currently historical research advisor to AROWAC as well as looking after orders and applications in Hertfordshire.
Without dedicated volunteers, there is too much to be done to maintain and enhance the public rights of way network. We all need to defend and extend equestrian rights of way, especially with increasing traffic."
