A bit about me...
"I am qualified at Bachelors of Arts level continuing on with my honours currently. Over the years I have worked at multiple yards, studs, riding schools, trekking centres and a show jumping yard. I feel it is important to volunteer to keep people safe, offroad riding is safer than on road which is where access comes in. Without safe offroad hacking people are taking risks with their horse(s) due to lack of knowledge or care by car drivers.
I began volunteering back in 1998 in Aberdeen which was very fulfilling in the knowledge that you have made someone's journey that bit safer, possibly saving a life. I was 2 yrs old the first time I sat on a horse, it was the beginning of my journey with horses which never disappointed. The joy of companionship and the freedom that came with caring for and riding these wonderful animals helped me immensely in later life after a rough start in my teenage years.
Three words I would use for horses would be; strength, beauty and resilience."
