A bit about me...

I've been riding on and off since my teens, owned my own horse for more than 20 years and now help others with theirs. I'm a happy hacker and participate in pleasure rides, so access is a very important topic for me. I also want to keep riders safe by getting them off the roads, wherever possible. I learned to ride at a riding school and am very aware of their decline; the one nearest me in Scotland, where I occasionally have lessons, was recently under threat of closure, but luckily that was avoided. My three words for horses would be fun, escape and responsibility.
