BHS Hampshire is delighted to announce the winners of the inaugural BHS Hampshire Coach of the Year awards.

Gail Meaker – freelance Accredited Professional Coach and

Michelle Pack from Quob Stables - Centre-based

Gail, who is based in Sway in the New Forest, is a Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship and teaches a wide range of clients. Her nominations included such gems as “her willpower to see you improve - not only as a rider but as a partnership with your horse - is limitless” and “she’s ambitious for you, yet patient and great fun.”

Michelle, a Stage 4 Senior Coach in Complete Horsemanship, works at BHS Approved Quob Stables near Southampton. She was cited for her “passion for training” and her “commitment to the equestrian industry.”

Each and every coach nominated for the awards would have been a worthy winner, and it was a very tough competition. Both categories were very closely contested, with over 1300 individual people casting over 800 votes in each category.

We will be launching the Coach of the Year 2021 Awards in the autumn – keep an eye out, and be sure to nominate your favourite Accredited Professional Coaches and Approved Centre Coaches......
